Eugenia Papadaki – B.A., M.A., PGCE
The Head Teacher, Mrs. Eugenia Papadaki is of Greek origin. She qualified as a teacher in the UK, undertaking post graduate studies, research and first hand experience in Bilingualism and Bilingual Education.
She is the holder of the following qualifications:
- A B.A. Degree in Modern Languages (University of Westminster, London)
- A Master Degree in Applied Linguistics specialising in Bilingualism and Second Language Teaching and Learning (University of London)
- A Post Graduate Certificate in education (PCGE) (Institute of Education, University of London)
- High/Scope Endorsed trainer (High/Scope Institute, UK)
Work experience:
- Various British State schools both at the Primary and Secondary levels (teacher and Head of the Learning Support faculty)
- Greek community Saturday schools in London, UK (Mother tongue teacher)
- Teacher-trainer and organizer of in-service training for teachers and families of bilingual learners.
- Teacher in charge of the Arese section of the International School of Milan.
- Research advisor to graduating students from Padua University and Università Cattolica di Milano for research projects on Bilingualism
- Organizer and participant member/speaker of a series of workshops, seminars and conferences on various issues of Bilingualism.
Eugenia has successfully brought up her two daughters trilingually.
